Hello everybody,

I am trying to install Domino R8 Server on a Debian based Linux server but the installation aborts while initializing the java virtual machine without any error message:

root@debian31m:/install/linux/domino# ./install

Lotus Domino for Unix Install Program

You have to set environment variable DISPLAY to run in graphic mode

Answer No to exit application.

I would strongly welcome any ideas or suggestions?!?

The installation of R7 runs fine and there is a Domino R7 running on this server which I would like to upgrade.
